First off: I’m so glad you’re here.
I am forever grateful that people consider me and trust to me present one of life’s most cherished moments from the perspective of my camera.
For as long as I can remember, there has been a camera present in my life. My intrigue began when I stumbled upon my dad’s old Pentax K1000 at the bottom of an old closet, and I slowly tried learning this craft on my own.
I’m a teacher by training and a self-taught photographer. My primary career is actually wrangling together at least 20 teenagers and getting them to care about literature, grammar, and stories. So to your 16+ person wedding party: bring it on!
But stories really are what drives me to weddings. A wedding day is the beginning of the rest of your lives; a wedding day might feel like it’s the climax of a story, but it’s only the exposition.
My introduction to wedding photography as a business was established 13 years ago when a friend reached out to document his brother’s wedding because they hadn’t hired a photographer.
the rest is history
On your wedding day, you’ll find me to be a calm, collected presence that knows when to turn it up for photos and when to act like a fly on the wall in order to let each wonderful moment unravel itself. My goal is always to capture YOUR story, emotions, laughs, cries, and most importantly, vision.
To be honest: not a wedding goes by where I am do not feel grateful for what I do. I LOVE what I get to call a job.
If you’re still reading, I appreciate you getting this far. Now let’s have a blast together!
Because every picture should bring back that feeling.
Relive your day!
